Description

The leader's personality affects the workplace climate, the organisational culture, the values, self-esteem, performance and even the personal life of employees. All these factors in turn have an impact on the company's performance. The personality and vision of the leader is not irrelevant. And just as continuous learning and development is essential for skills and professional knowledge in a given field, so too is personal development and self-awareness. A good leader must be aware of his or her own functioning, the impact he or she has on the organisation he or she leads, and be able to receive and process feedback from the environment in order to function effectively as a leader. Self-awareness and the ability to self-reflect help in this. Therefore, self-awareness and self-expression can be identified as the most important element of leadership qualities. This is nothing other than self-awareness, which is an individual's knowledge and awareness of self, based on self-evaluation. It means that the individual, on the basis of his knowledge of himself, consciously assumes himself externally and internally, and everything he does reflects him. What others see and experience of his actions and manifestations is nothing other than the self. In this training module, participants will be made aware of the range of leadership competences and the importance of leadership methods that can be used in a given organisation. Attention will be focused on the courage to use existing skills and abilities in a group and to manage colleagues with the same knowledge.
