Description
This course provides students with the basic skills to use PowerShell to automate the administration and operation of Windows servers. This course will provide students with the skills to identify and create the command needed to perform a given task. In addition, students will learn how to create scripts to perform advanced tasks such as automating repetitive tasks and generating reports. This course provides skills to support a wide range of Microsoft products, including Windows Server, Windows Client, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. In keeping with this goal, this course does not focus on a single product, although Windows Server, which is the common platform for all products, is used as an example for the techniques taught in the course.
Suggested For
This course is designed for IT professionals who have experience in general Windows Server, Windows client, Azure and Microsoft 365 administration and who want to learn more about using Windows PowerShell for operations. Previous experience with any version of PowerShell or any scripting language is expected. This course is also suitable for IT professionals who already have experience in server administration, including Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SharePoint Server and Microsoft SQL Server.

Prerequisites
Before completing the course, students should have:
- Experience in Windows networking technologies and their implementation
- Experience in Windows Server administration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
