Project Management
Description
The aim of the training is to familiarise the participants with the characteristics and process of a successful project; to become familiar with the necessary workflow of a project from planning to implementation. An important element is that participants will also learn, through real-life examples, the methods supporting the activities of the project staff, which will enable them to have a clear overview of the necessary processes, to plan the timing of each step, to set more effective objectives and to define the time needed to achieve them.
The content of the training is designed to provide participants with a flexible, efficient process that ensures planning without excessive detail and control without unnecessary complexity. Throughout the training, participants will learn project management techniques that have been proven in everyday practice, and will be able to maintain their own and others' motivation throughout the project.
Through a well-structured process based on the five phases of the classic project management model (project preparation and launch, planning, implementation, control and project closure), participants will learn data collection and analysis techniques, communication and management elements specific to each phase of the project, and the management and implementation of the project.
Suggested For
For company managers and owners who want to understand the requirements and conditions for professional project implementation; for beginners and experienced project managers who want to structure and develop their knowledge, who want to look at project management from a different perspective; for team members working on a project, and for anyone who wants to learn what is different about working on a project, to deepen their knowledge with practical methods, to learn about the most important phases of projects.
Benefits
The training deals with all the stakeholders of the project, so participants will learn about the project manager's tasks from the perspective of the leader, the participants and the company management. Working intensively together, it highlights the interpersonal events that take place within the project team during the project and also looks at the roles of the people involved in the project and the resulting behaviours. Through this lens, it views the project tasks and prepares the participants to manage/implement their projects effectively and efficiently. This develops the cooperation of the participants and increases their commitment to the project.
During the exercises, participants will experience the roles of both the project leader and the project participants in the project matrix, so that they can see and understand each other's work and be sensitive to each other's perspectives. This will enable them to monitor each other's tasks for the success of the project (especially if the project leader or project team member is clearly facing a challenge that is beyond their capacity at the time), to support each other and to speak up if someone deviates from the agreed (planned) path or from the (planned) norms of cooperation.
