New PRINCE2® 7 Foundation eLearning Package with Exam

The aim of the course is to introduce participants to the project management solutions of PRINCE2®, one of the world’s most popular methodologies, and to prepare them for the internationally recognized PRINCE2® Foundation exam.

Since May 2024, the course has been available for the new 7th Edition.

PRINCE2®-based project management has become a de facto standard and is widely used in both the private and public sectors. PRINCE2® provides organizations with a common language, standardized processes, roles, and management practices for both general and IT project management. PRINCE2® can help improve project efficiency and quality, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce costs.

By the end of the course, participants will be familiar with PRINCE2®-based project management practices, process models, and product-based planning techniques. They will be able to create project plans, analyze risks, initiate projects, prepare project documentation, and manage projects. They will also understand the fundamentals of the techniques required for managing change, quality assurance, and product development. The knowledge gained provides the prerequisite knowledge for the advanced PRINCE2® Practitioner course.

The course is based on lectures, interactive exercises, case studies, and exam preparation sessions. The PRINCE2® Foundation exam can be taken after the course at a pre-arranged time.

We recommend the PRINCE2® Foundation course to anyone who will be involved in projects as part of their work, needs to work with a project-oriented approach, will manage projects, or wants to improve their organization’s existing project management processes. The course is ideal for project team members (project administrators, coordinators, support staff, managers, and consultants), practicing project managers, programme managers, as well as IT and HR managers.

• Overview of PRINCE2®: background, objectives, benefits, opportunities, and structure. Key new features and changes introduced in PRINCE2 7th Edition.
• Project organization: organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, the project management team, the project manager, team management, project oversight, project support, and supplier relationships.
• Project planning: objectives and the importance of planning, components and types of plans, planning techniques, product-based planning, and the steps of the planning process.
• Project control: authorizing work packages, evaluating project stages, project tolerances, checkpoints and related reports, managing exceptions and unexpected events, handling project issues, and project reporting.
• Risk management: types of business and project risks, fundamentals of risk analysis and risk management, and the risk register.
• Quality: quality assurance, quality planning, product descriptions, quality control, and quality reviews.
• Change and configuration management: change management steps, approval and decision-making levels, impact assessments, and the fundamentals of configuration management.
• Project processes: preparing and initiating projects, directing a project, managing project decision points, controlling a stage, managing product delivery, and closing projects.
• Sample exam, questions and answers.

To complete the e-learning course, participants must hold an ITIL 4 Foundation certification. As the e-learning content, reference materials, and exam are all in English, at least a basic level of professional English reading proficiency is recommended. No other prior qualifications are required for the course. Basic knowledge of agile, lean, and agile IT concepts is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
