New MarsLander® Business Simulation
Description
The key to effective service management is Agile, ITIL®, DevOps and Lean, teamwork and the ability to respond quickly to business needs. During the 1-day business simulation, participants will be able to test themselves in an exciting simulated environment using the learning-by-doing method, which will help to translate theoretical knowledge into practice, making it easier to understand and master operational patterns that are highly applicable in the day-to-day work of a company.
How can simulation be used?
Simulation is a powerful tool for stimulating new ways of thinking, for IT and other collaborative areas of the organisation. It helps to communicate more effectively and to help employees understand how they can improve their current ways of working from traditional service management to more agile and transparent service management.

The interactive training course
The simulation consists of 3 rounds, each of which is based on the SPACE-Y Space Centre's MarsLander mission mission. These are implemented in sprints (timeboxing), as known from Agile.
- Round I - Preparation, launch and rendezvous with comet Hardy IV (2 sprints)
- Round II - Head for Mars, take remote images (2 sprints)
- Round III - Landing, exploring the surface of Mars (3 sprints)

Prerequisites
No prior qualifications required. ITIL Foundation level service management, Agile knowledge an advantage.
