ITIL5-ST-EL
New ITIL Strategy (Version 5) eLearning Package with Exam
Description
The ITIL® Strategy (Version 5) course is designed for leaders and professionals who want to understand how strategic thinking can become a central element in the operation of modern, digitally enabled organizations. The course is based on the principle that without strategy, decisions can easily become fragmented, resources can be dispersed, and organizations may miss opportunities that could create real business value. ITIL Strategy therefore goes beyond simply presenting planning methods and introduces an approach that connects organizational vision with practical implementation, including resource allocation, risk management, and the development of the necessary capabilities.
The course focuses particularly on how to navigate the complexity of today’s business environment, where organizations face constantly changing markets, emerging technologies, and increasing stakeholder expectations. It explains how strategy supports the setting of priorities, the selection of the right opportunities, and the achievement of a balance between short-term results and long-term sustainability. The course also emphasizes that strategy is not merely a management document, but a framework for governance and collaboration that supports coordinated operations across different areas of the organization.
ITIL Strategy places particular emphasis on value co-creation and on how organizations connect with their customers, partners, employees, and other stakeholders within a digital ecosystem. The course presents the capabilities and approaches – such as leadership, communication, innovation, risk management, sustainability, and change management – that organizations need not only to respond to change but also to remain competitive over the long term. Participants receive practical guidance on developing strategy, supporting digital operations, and effectively managing innovation and technological change.
