Description
The ITIL®4 Strategist: Direct Plan & Improve (DPI) Intermediate module will provide participants with the essential practical knowledge and skills to support an organisation to become a learning and development organisation, while also providing strong and effective strategic leadership. Both the knowledge and the associated exam can be used to complete the ITIL4 Managing Professional or ITIL4 Strategic Leader qualification.
The formal, accredited ITIL®4 DPI course details the influence and impact of Agile and Lean working practices on organisations, which companies can use to their advantage. Participants will also learn strategic and practical methods to facilitate continuous improvement, design and implementation processes with the necessary agility.
The training, together with the completion of further intermediate courses (ITIL4-CDS, ITIL4-DSV, ITIL4-HVIT), will provide a complete picture and, together with the related successful exams, will enable the achievement of the ITIL4 Managing Professional qualification or, together with the ITIL4-DITS training and exam, the ITIL4 Strategic Leader qualification.
The knowledge gained on the course will help organisations to: improve performance and operational efficiency, develop employee competencies in the area of digital service management.

- Apply organisational change management and communication principles and procedures to management, planning and development.
- Apply measurement and reporting principles and procedures to management, planning and development.

Prerequisites
To complete the training you must have a prior ITIL4 Foundation qualification. No other qualifications are required for the course. Basic knowledge of previous agile, lean or agile IT concepts is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
