Description
The aim of the training is to train professionals who can handle the tasks related to IT procurement and subcontractor management, from the formulation of IT needs in the company, to the definition of supplier selection and evaluation criteria, to their auditing and evaluation. In this context, the course also provides knowledge on how to successfully perform tasks related to quality assurance and project management of system or software development projects.
The methods learned during the training can be successfully applied not only in the case of external relations, procurement and development, but also in the case of internal development. In this case, the customer is the department concerned, while the supplier may be the IT development team.

The training is open to all participants who are either on one side (customer) or the other (supplier) side of the IT procurement process and would like to learn how to work together more effectively.

- Assessing IT needs within the company and at the client's premises
- Drafting a call for tenders, specifying requirements with a foray into public procurement

Prerequisites
Previous management, project management experience and experience and knowledge of quality management would be an advantage. Some source material may be in English, so a basic level of English at document reading level is recommended but not required.
