Description

The Cisco ENCOR course, led by experienced, certified Cisco instructors, provides the knowledge and skills needed to configure, troubleshoot and manage enterprise wired and wireless networks. Participants will also learn how to implement security principles within an enterprise network and gain an insight into SD-Access and SD-WAN solutions. Automation and programmability of enterprise networks will also be covered.

The course material (after sufficient hands-on time) will help you prepare for the official 350-401 Implementing Cisco® Enterprise Network Core Technologies (ENCOR) exam, which can be used for the advanced CCNP Routing & Switching certification. Note: the exam can be taken separately, optionally at our Pearson VUE exam center or online. The exam fee is not included in the training fee.

Course structure: the total duration of the training is approximately 8 days, of which 5 days (40 hours) are the instructor-led training component and a further 3 days are self-paced with e-learning videos and written material and lab exercises. The remote access is available for 3 months (or a maximum of 60 hours of use) in addition to the 5 days of training.

Suggested For

The course is recommended for professionals with previous Cisco networking basics (CCNA) and experience (network operators, support staff, help-desk professionals) who want to learn more about enterprise networking technologies and their configuration, management, troubleshooting, security basics.

The training is also useful for those who (after sufficient hands-on time) wish to prepare for the official ENCOR exam and later obtain the CCNP Routing & Switching international certification.

Benefits

After completing the training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the hierarchical network design model and architecture.
  • To compare different hardware and software switching mechanisms and operation.
