Tóth Márton trainer
This course is recommended for those who find the charts available in Excel and PowerPoint insufficient for visualizing reports and data sets. By learning think-cell, a popular Excel and PowerPoint data visualization add-on, you can create more visually striking and complex charts than the built-in options, in an incredibly simple and user-friendly way. During the training day, we'll explore the most useful and practical ways to use the think-cell application.
Description
The programme is widely used by leading consultancies and investment banks. In the US, MIT has made it available to its employees and students.
Creating data-driven charts is no easy task. We often use graphic elements to make our charts transparent, but these are not integrated into Excel or PowerPoint charts.
Managing labels is also difficult. Using Think-cell also makes it easier to manage roundings. In Excel, a common problem is that the rounded sum is the same as the value that Excel calculates.
This charting software integrates these unique features into Excel and PowerPoint. After the 1-day (8 hours) training, participants will be confident in using this useful, niche software in their daily work.
The training will introduce students to the Think-cell extension to Microsoft PowerPoint and its use. With Think-cell, you can further enhance your PowerPoint presentation by using a number of metrics and trend lines for charts, charts not used in PowerPoint and Excel (e.g. Gantt chart, waterfall chart, mekko chart, etc.) and many other new features to make your presentation unique.
