Part 2 - ENARSI

Everything you need to know about the renewed CCNP Enterprise (Professional level) courses 2.

In our previous article , we summarized what you should know about the mandatory exam for the CCNP certification in connection with the ENCOR training. Let's now continue the series with the next material on the routing/switching path.

To obtain the CCNP Enterprise certification, in addition to the mandatory ENCOR exam, you must also pass a so-called "concentration" exam. Here you can choose from six possible topics, based on experience so far, the most popular among the concentration exams is ENARSI (Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services), so let's review its interesting features in a few sentences!

The chapters of the ENARSI training cover a significant portion of the previous ROUTE material, including a deeper discussion of the EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols in IPv4 and IPv6 environments. In addition, we find Redistribution, Path Control, Policy Routing and iBGP topics, supplemented by exciting troubleshooting and security modules. In the framework of this course, we can also get acquainted with interesting topics that were covered in the Service Provider track in the previous portfolio, such as MPLS, VRF or MP-BGP.

The curriculum – as we have come to expect – is particularly exciting and meaningful, requiring a whole person. Following the manufacturer's renewed training concept, it is implemented in the form of 5 days of instructor-supported, "traditional" classroom or LVC (Live Virtual Classroom) modules, plus additional self-study chapters that can be allocated according to individual possibilities, supported by a virtualized, cloud-based, and therefore accessible practical environment, which of course remains accessible to participants for 90 days after the 5-day period.

It is an important mission for Training360 to help our students deepen the knowledge they have acquired in the most popular Cisco courses, therefore - similarly to the CCNA and ENCOR courses - we provide ENARSI course students with 3 months of access to our freshly prepared, Hungarian-language e-learning material. We consider it a special value that, continuing the "established tradition", we have also processed the topics discussed in the 3-day self-study in the case of ENARSI in our video material.

As for the exams, the old restrictions have been removed, there is no mandatory order and possession of a live CCNA certificate is not a prerequisite for obtaining the “Professional” qualifications. However, it is logical to start with the ENCOR training and exam, as it is definitely a smaller ball than the currently discussed Advanced Routing (ENARSI) material. The corresponding exam, coded 300-410, consists of 55-65 questions, which we have to solve in a maximum of 120 minutes. As is already well known, the evaluation of our answers takes place immediately after the closing of the last question (or the expiration of the available time).

The Training360 Training Center offers many options for successful preparation, in the form of an instructor-led classroom or LVC (Live Virtual Classroom). In addition, the above-mentioned Hungarian language e-learning material is fully accessible to students of the ENARSI course. The ENARSI e-learning material can be ordered separately from the Training360 e-learning repository without attending the course, with a full-fledged lab environment belonging to the training.

We look forward to seeing you at our Cisco training courses in the future!
