Description of the project

In line with the objectives of the Vocational Training 4.0 Strategy, the main objective of the measures is to ensure a more flexible adaptation to labour market needs and the systemic integration of digital competence development in the framework of the comprehensive, systemic development of vocational education and training and adult education. The activities of the project aim to ensure that the content of vocational education and training is up-to-date and taught using modern 21st century methodologies.

The aim of the Digital Curriculum Development is to ensure that vocational trainers have digital learning materials suitable for teaching the latest technologies. Trainers should be prepared to use the materials and to participate in community curriculum development. The knowledge required by IPAR 4.0 can only be taught using digital learning materials. Based on the requirements defined at sectoral level, a digital curricula base should be created by adapting state-of-the-art international curricula and working with dual training partners. Modern digital learning tools for sectoral training should be provided and kept up to date. Define the content and mandatory tools for basic vocational training in school workshops. In order to create a vocational training system that can meet the rapidly changing needs of the economy, it is essential to renew the professional content by providing teaching tools that support the effectiveness of training and by incorporating the possibility of flexible content updating and modification. The project will enable the development of the work of trainers, thus indirectly supporting students' learning and professional development. The digital learning materials, developed according to uniform professional principles, will ensure equal opportunities and a sense of achievement for all learners. In this way, vocational education and training becomes more attractive, motivates learners and contributes to reducing early school leaving, thus helping to tackle a serious social problem.

The IT training in support of structural change aims to train IT professionals with the right digital skills as the most important resource for digital transformation in Hungary. The communication infrastructure needed for economic reconstruction in the wake of the health emergency is already in place, but the human resources needed to run the digital economy are scarce. The project also aims to provide those who have lost their jobs due to the emergency, those who are changing jobs, with the opportunity to change careers through a structure-changing IT adult education programme, thus contributing to economic growth.
