New Digital Product Management - Vision, Strategy and Metrics
Description
The course is based on participants who have already mastered the basics of Product management, as the course will help you to move in this direction. It introduces advanced skills and methods that successful product managers use every day in their work. Starting with how to implement vision and strategy, how to better understand and use data. This is demonstrated through a series of real-life examples.
The first block of the course takes participants through two highly successful parts of product management: vision and strategy. We will show the significant differences in thinking and practice behind these two concepts and how they can be applied to the development of specific products.
The training will show how a well thought-out vision framework can help to set a company or product in the right direction. Using OKRs, we will translate this into more tangible goals for the next 3-6-12 months and help you track and build agile roadmaps based on them.
The second block will give an introduction into the depth of the different metrics: it will guide the participant through, among other things, what data is worth measuring and how to better understand the data that is being monitored. The aim is to use the data to support the business strategy of the product, but we also leave some room for intuition. Different data analysis and testing techniques are presented, as well as how to detect different anomalies in them. The block brings more complex practical examples from three different industries - e-commerce, mobile apps and marketplaces.
By the end of the course, we will have built up a substantial toolkit to help participants make better and more profitable decisions in their work as product managers.
