The Experts of the Course

Csaba Krasznay, PhD

Csaba Krasznay, PhD

A regular speaker at Hungarian and international conferences and one of Hungary’s most sought-after cybersecurity media experts. He has participated in hundreds of successful cybersecurity training and consulting projects. He is currently an associate professor at the BME CRYSIS Laboratory and previously taught at the Department of Cybersecurity at the National University of Public Service. His key relevant certifications include CISA, CISM, CISSP, CSSLP, Certified SOC Analyst, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Incident Handler and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

Márk Szoldán

Márk Szoldán

He has more than 25 years of professional experience in IT and business consulting and over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity. He began this stage of his career at Balabit as an international trainer. He has worked in Hungary and abroad at Microsoft, IBM and PwC, as well as a freelancer, gaining broad experience across varied international technology and industry projects. He currently supports training and implementation for One Identity’s cybersecurity products.

Gábor Illés

Gábor Illés

A cybersecurity expert with more than 20 years of experience. He is a mentor and guest lecturer at several universities. He worked at Balabit as a presales engineer and later at Balasys Ltd. as a technology research and development specialist and consultant. He has participated in numerous penetration testing and vulnerability management projects as a consultant. He is an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and CISM. He currently works as a cybersecurity expert and developer at Axoflow, a fast-rising Hungarian startup specialising in cybersecurity analytics solutions.

  • Red, Blue and Purple Teaming solutions - an overview through the lens of logging – core concepts, ransomware attacks, the MITRE ATT&CK® Framework and case studies

  • Basic networking and TCP/IP knowledge
  • Basic Linux/Windows operations knowledge
  • Basic information security knowledge
  • Professional English is an advantage but not a requirement

Programme completion

Knowledge assessment and final test

The programme concludes with a 50-question online knowledge assessment. Participants who complete it successfully receive a certificate issued in accordance with the Adult Education Act.

The programme and its certificate also comply with the rules of Decree 17/2025 (VII. 24.) of the Ministry of Energy on requirements for qualifications, professional qualifications, training and continuing education under the Act on Hungary’s Cybersecurity, and cover the areas specified under Sections 3 and 4.
