Description

The key to leadership effectiveness is to be able to influence people without exercising power.

Are they going to trust you with a team now? Are you about to be appointed as a leader? Are you a practising leader looking to grow? Would you like a trusted environment to share your dilemmas? Do you lead your team by instinct, but want to be more systematic, efficient and aware? Are you curious about leadership tools? If your answer is yes to just one of the above questions, then this training series will, we hope, take you on a valuable development journey.

The type of organisation and the institutional context in which leaders carry out their work are important determinants of modern leadership. In this context in particular, it is noteworthy that leaders fulfil their organisational mission by mastering their leadership roles and developing the competencies that go with them. Our experience shows that the development of the competences required to fulfil a leadership role, the acquisition of modern leadership techniques generates a significant development in the leadership presence of the participants.

A fundamental aim of the training is to help colleagues to learn what it means to be a leader, what leadership responsibility means, how to deal with different types of people. The aim is also to familiarise them with the basic tasks of leadership, as well as the strengths and threats that they will encounter or already encounter in their work as leaders, due to the specificities of the organisation.

Suggested For

People who are capable of managing people and providing essential leadership. Colleagues who are about to be appointed as managers, as well as experienced managers who are already practising and motivated to learn and apply management skills.

Benefits

The impact of the wider environment on the organisation will be mapped and the resulting management responsibilities will be strengthened. Participants will be able to take a systemic view of the specificities of their own organisational culture, thus enhancing their leadership role, their leadership toolbox and self-awareness, and their ability to coordinate their leadership and supportive leadership roles more effectively. They are more aware of their leadership function, and planning, organising, motivating, delegating, controlling and managing conflicts are brought into harmony.

The following skills will be developed in particular during the training series:
